Alpha 0.5.2: The Encyclopedia Online
The encyclopedia
The encyclopedia is now on the web as well as in the game. Every raider, troop, building, region and kind of weather has a page of its own, with its history and sources, and anyone can read it without playing.
Credits
A new Credits page names where the music, the sounds, the maps and the fonts come from.
Privacy and cookies
The game now has a privacy policy and terms, linked at the bottom of the main menu.
You choose which cookies to allow, and you can change your mind at any time under Cookie settings.
Alpha 0.5.1: Signs of Weather
Weather
The encyclopedia has a new Weather book. Each kind of weather is unlocked the day before it first comes, so you can read what it does before you face it.
The weather sign now warns you with a red exclamation mark. Mist shrinks the lit range circles to their shorter reach, and rain and drought now show on your soldiers and buildings, so you can see at a glance who is slowed and what will pay less.
Outer Kakheti
Heavy rain now falls on night 10, and a drought comes after night 5. To carry you through, there are two more Monaspa camps and two more Darbazi to build.
Haji Chalabi is tougher. He now lands on the west shore and calls mixed bands of raiders to him as he comes.
Interface
Once a building is fully upgraded its card is hidden; click the building to see it again. You can zoom the region map with the mouse wheel or with two fingers.
On phones, the build cards slide down out of the way with an arrow, a moon button starts the night, and the Hold button turns red when you are short of coins.
The scenes when raiders arrive by boat or by a hidden road are shorter, and popups always stay on the screen.
Alpha 0.5.0: The Lake and the Iori
Outer Kakheti
A new region lies along the Iori, south-west of the Alazani valley: open plains, salt lakes and dry hills. The village sits round a lake, with the Sasakhle on its south shore and the Eklesia on a hill across the water.
Raiders come by road and by river: on some nights they come down the river in boats and land on the shores of the lake.
The region's boss is Haji Chalabi, Khan of Shaki. He founded the Shaki Khanate, east of Kakheti, in 1743, and fought the Georgian kings Teimuraz II and Erekle II in the 1750s.
Weather
Some nights now come with weather. Heavy rain slows your lord and soldiers, and mist shortens the reach of every bow and gun. A drought halves what the next dawn pays.
Buildings
The Navsadguri is a landing on the lake shore. Its fishermen bring in coins at dawn, and at its last level it can carry a tower that watches the water.
The Shavi Bazari of Outer Kakheti sells a new item: a fishing net, thrown over the raiders to hold them fast.
The Mouravi
A new hero, the Mouravi, joins you once you have defended Hereti. He is the king's governor of a district, armed with a long spear: his thrusts reach past a sword and run on into the raiders behind. His power, Sheteva, is a charge that throws aside every raider in his path.
Balance
The Musket Koshki and the Archers' Koshki are stronger. A few smaller fixes come with this update as well.
