History
Bochorma fortress stands on a height above the Iori, south-east of Tianeti. Local tradition calls it an old seat of Kakheti and says Erekle II rebuilt it against the raids (verify).
In about 1722, Vakhushti writes, raiders who had ravaged Tianeti shut themselves inside a fortification with their plunder and captives; the Kakhetians stormed it and freed them. Setting that night at Bochorma is a game choice.
